Customer Review: Very Nice machine!!

The best feature of the Via Venezia is the spring loaded valve that lets the coffee flow out. This has two benefits. First, you don't have to tamp the grinds. Pretty nice, but no biggie. Second (the best) is that the diameter is almost 2mm when the valve opens. On every other espresso machine I've used there is a single teeny hole about the diameter of a human hair that the espresso jets through. Why is this good? IT NEVER CLOGS!! After periodically cleaning that hole out over the years with other machines this is very much appreciated. When your machine makes noise and little coffee comes out and you release the basket and ground spray all over you know what I'm referring to. It makes pretty good espresso. Maybe not perfect espresso, but certainly as good as I get at Starbucks. Saves me lots of money and looks nice.
